GRANTS: 

Two grants, each with a value of up to $500.00, will be awarded to mathematics leaders who are members of PCSM.  The money will be used to help defray the cost of attending the Pennsylvania Council of Supervisors of Mathematics (PCSM) Annual Conference on November 10-11, 2010.  Interested members should complete the grant application and submit to grants@pscmonline.org. 

Nominations are now being accepted for 2010 awards!  There are five named PCSM awards: Outstanding Contributions to PCSM, Outstanding Contributions to Mathematics Supervision, Distinguished Service to PCSM, PCSM Hall of Fame, and Past-President’s Award. The distinction between Distinguished Service and Outstanding Contributions to PCSM is that The Outstanding Contributions to PCSM Award is designed to recognize on going contributions of time and talent to the organization in a variety of ways while the Distinguished Service award is granted for leading some significant task or event sponsored or promoted by PCSM.  To nominate a PCSM member and recognize them for their extraordinary efforts, complete the nomination form and forward to the awards chair.

Recipients of all awards with the exception of Outstanding Contributions to Supervision must be PCSM members. Official nominations are accepted only from PCSM members; however, the member may furnish supporting documentation from others acquainted with the work of the nominee.
