PCSM Mission
Statement
The Pennsylvania Council of Supervisors of
Mathematics (PCSM) is a mathematics leadership organization dedicated to
developing and supporting effective leaders who will promote and sustain
maximum achievement in mathematics for each student in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
PCSM Vision Statement
PCSM envisions a
community of mathematics leaders who strive to improve the mathematics
achievement of all students by supporting teachers to strengthen their content
and implement diverse instructional practices.
To achieve our vision we

Promote
opportunities for networking and collaboration among leaders in mathematics
education to ensure their growth and development.

Communicate
current and relevant mathematics issues, research, trends, programs, policies,
best practices, and use of technology to mathematics leaders and other
stakeholders in education, business, and government.

Support
and sustain improved student achievement in mathematics through the development
of effective leadership skills for current and future mathematics leaders.

Motivate mathematics leaders to:
